Computers are okay (heck, Ive got a BSIT!), but many businesspeople need to understand that a computer is NOT their savior. In fact, given the cheap garbage coming from China, its more of an expensive nuisance. Many times Ive seen small businesspeople struggle with Quickbooks, and wind up getting audited because they could not figure out what invoices went into what accounts. In fact, I constantly stress that businesspeople, especially small ones, should first learn to do accounting BY HAND, so that they can understand how the process is done, THEN move up to automating.
