ABOUT THE O.T.R. TEAM

Jenna JJENNA J

HOSTESS
With three older brothers, each of whom loved boxing, it is not surprising that Jenna J became interested in the sport at a young age. While watching "Iron" Mike Tyson square off against Frans Botha the announcers, her brothers, and everyone present were saying Tyson was a shot fighter. Botha was piling on points and things began looking hopeless for Tyson when all of a sudden one right hand changed everything. A new fan was born this day and it was not long before Jenna's love for the sport soon surpassed that of her brothers. With her unique blend of knowledge, charm, and a deep passion for the sport, Jenna began On the Ropes in December 2008. She has since hosted more than 60 episodes and has helped transform On the Ropes Boxing Radio into what it has become today.

Geoffrey CianiGEOFFREY CIANI
PRODUCER/CO-HOST
Ciani first became hooked on boxing as a nine year old when he watched the epic three round clash between Marvelous Marvin Hagler and Tommy Hearns. He has followed the sport ever since and become more interested in it with each passing year. In June 2005 Ciani began writing for East Side Boxing (where he still writes to this day) and has since penned close to 400 articles. Ciani made his first appearance On the Ropes in March 2009 when Jenna J invited him on the program to share his dissenting views on the upcoming fight between Winky Wright and Paul Williams. Convinced that Winky would emerge victorious, Ciani was invited back on to the program following the fight for his serving of crow. The incident has since jokingly been referred to as "Winky-Gate". Shortly thereafter, Ciani started making weekly appearances and became a permanent fixture on the show.

Nick PowersNICK POWERS
CO-HOST
One day in late November 2005, Nick Powers turned on HBO to find "Countdown to Taylor-Hopkins II" being broadcast. By the end of the program, without even having seen their first fight in its entirety, he was willing to fork over $50 for the December 3 PPV rematch. From that point on, Nick considered himself more than a "casual" fan of the Sweet Science, and began to take a liking to the sport as a whole. Nick's first appearance On The Ropes came in February 2009, when he called the show during it's eighth episode to comment on the recent Antonio Margarito plaster scandal, which translated into 47 minutes of overtime spent talking with hostess Jenna J. From there, Nick was asked to call back again the next week and by episode 10 was promoted to co-host full time. He is currently working towards a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, which he hopes can one day bring him ringside to cover future mega-fights.
